GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) is open to all students seventh through twelfth grade. The purpose of the GOYA program is to provide an opportunity for our youth to experience the four circles (worship, service, fellowship and witness) of our Orthodox Faith. GOYANS are expected to attend Church School regularly. GOYA outings include attending Metropolitan sponsored events (i.e., sports tournaments, retreats, summer camp), as well as bi-monthly meetings and fun gatherings September through May. The goal of the group is to formulate a solid Orthodox Christian foundation where the youth can express their Faith.
Our Dance Program is committed to teaching the traditional dances of our Greek heritage in a Christian environment. The dancers are divided by age group and practice weekly from March to May in preparation of performing at our Annual Food Festival in early June, and also to participate in the November Metropolitan Folk Festival.
